This week we;
-worked on reading and interpreting information from a calendar
-wrote about Alberta's climate, land and water
-wrote about what we would miss in Alberta if we moved away
-wrote about silly things we are thankful for this Thanksgiving
-wrote about what we are really thankful for this Thanksgiving
-sketched turkeys
-worked on expanding numbers (643 = 600+40+3 or 6 hundreds, 4 tens and 3 ones)
-worked on measurement and determining the best unit of measurement
-completed a Thanksgiving Structure and Style
-listened to Greyson, Amelia, Ruby, Ever and Kadens speeches
-met our new student teacher (Ms.Walsh) from St.Mary's University
-had a practice lock down AND fire drill
-practiced for the Grade 3 SLA
