Week 14 Nov.30-Dec.4
Wow what a week...so far! This week we have put a lot of focus into finalizing the Connaught School Mitten drive and then finally getting to deliver the mittens. We ended up collecting 249 pairs of mittens for the Connaught School students. Our students were wonderful on our walk to Connaught School; they remembered to stay in between the crosswalk lines, make eye contact with drivers before stepping out onto the road and stayed on the right side of the sidewalk. Thank you to Tammy Reeves (Mark's Mom) who handed out a packaged treat to each child as we made our way back up the hill to the school.
This week we also;
-worked on our letters to Santa
-worked on our parents Christmas presents
-worked on measurement in Math
-learned the basic skills of lacrosse in gym
-began our Magnet Unit (grade 2)
-continued Animal Life Cycles (grade 3)
